Equipment

  • Electric whisk or food processor
  • Ice cream maker (optional)
  • Freezer safe metal dish

Ingredients
  

  • 30 cl whole fresh cream 30%.
  • 100 ml plant milk (we took coconut rice)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 80 g black sesame paste
  • 100 g white sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whip the crème fraîche with an electric whisk.
  • Whisk the egg yolks and white sugar in a bowl until the mixture becomes frothy and thick.

  • Over low heat, combine milk and black sesame paste. Remove from heat before boiling, then pour into the egg and milk mixture.
  • Add the fresh cream and mix well.

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the instructions

Without ice cream maker

  • Pour the mixture into a metal bowl and place in the freezer.
  • During freezing, 1 to 2 hours later, whip the mixture with a whisk or fork. Repeat the operation 2 or 3 times and leave in the freezer overnight.
