Total Time 10 minutes mins
- 1.102 lb of frozen edamame (500g)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 L boiling water

Bring hot water to a boil and place the frozen edamame in the pan. To avoid splashing your hands, use Japanese chopsticks. They are longer and specially designed for cooking.
Wait 5 minutes then wring them out in the colander.
Very quickly, rinse them under cold water for a few moments to stop the cooking of the edamame. You can even plunge them into a bowl of ice water.
Add salt and it's ready!
