Here is a Japanese recipe for a nourishing rice porridge. This recipe is also suitable for babies who are starting to eat solid foods.

  • If you want to make more quantity you need 200 ml of Japanese rice, 1L of water

  • 200 ml water

  • Wash the rice 3 to 4 times until the water is clear. Then take 2 tablespoons of the washed rice and put it in 200 ml of water in the pan.

  • Bring to a boil and reduce heat to minimum.

  • Simmer for 30 to 50 minutes over very low heat, without covering or stirring. If the water decreases too much during cooking, add the necessary amount.
